Who We Are

The North Coast Vocational Education and Training Promotional and Advisory Committee Inc (NETPAC) was established in 2001 to promote and advise on Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the Mid and North Coast Region of NSW.  The Region covers an area north to Tweed Heads, south to Taree and west to Drake and includes major centres such as Coffs Harbour, Casino, Lismore, Grafton and Port Macquarie.

All sectors of the Region’s VET community are represented as members of NETPAC including from Schools, Adult and Community Education, Registered Training Organisations, Group Training Companies, New Apprenticeships Centres, Job Network Providers, Employers, Employer Associations, and NSW and Commonwealth Government Departments and Agencies.

NETPAC Inc plays an integral role in supporting and promoting VET in this Region by:

• Conducting the Regional Training Awards and selecting additional candidates as nominees for additional State only Training Awards;
• Supporting Mid and  North Coast Careers Expos;
• Providing a forum where other Regional VET committees can meet to distribute information; share ideas; and undertake joint initiatives;
• Coordinating seminars and information to improve the knowledge and skills of professionals working in the VET Sector;
• Contributing to the NSW Department of Education’s Regional VET plan for the supply of Education and Training to the region; and
• Acting as a resource for other Government Departments and Agencies seeking advice and assistance with VET initiatives.
