NETPAC is an Independent Committee Incorporated as an Association (not for profit) and has been in operation on the North Coast since December 2000. NETPAC members have collectively developed opportunities for all VET stakeholders on the North Coast through professional development and networking to raise the quality and standards of training outcomes in the region. NETPAC seeks funds from the Department of Education and Training (DET) to support activities designed to increase learners participation in apprenticeships and traineeships in NSW.

The objectives of this funding are to:
- support the NSW Training Awards through the promotion and hosting of Regional Awards Presentation.
- increase the awareness of employers and the community of the benefits of participation in apprenticeships or traineeships.
- provide the department with advice on issues impacting on the VET system in the North Coast region.
